Rooms and location made the stay nice! Meals in hotel were good. We booked it before and can recommend it to everyone.
-
The bed was comfortable and the staff was quite polite. Heating, a small fridge and a sitting area available in the king room.
-
Great location, low price, tolerable amenities, awesome grouper bites.
The only reason I would not recommend this hotel is so that I can continue to get reservations.
-
we pretty much liked it all.Prices was the best for the location. Not luxury, but comfortable.people seemed nice. easy to find, and water views was great.

Nothing. Our experience was a very poor one.
We killed 5 cockroaches our one night there. We went to the front office but they had a sign on their door apologizing for their absence and that we should call a phone number. We called…. No answer. Called again. No answer. We dove the next day and left at 6am. Still, no one at the front office that am. During our lunch break, we headed back to the hotel to see if the office had opened up. James told us marge would call us back. We waited 4 days and we did not receive any call. I called the next day and the following and marge was never around. Finally, I called the using an unknown number and marged picked up. I spoke to marge politely and told her where the cockroaches were coming from. No apologies, no reimbursement and no attempt to make things better. She blamed us for not checking out early. Horrible! Stay away!!!

The location provides beautiful morning views of Bay. The outside bar has beautiful second floor views of beach and water. The wait staff were indifferent, but never rude. No menu availabl ein Tiki Bar.
Wait staff did not seek to provide service and sat doing nothing comfortably waiting on Port Hotel and Marina's policy of adding 18% automatically to bills.

the restaurant and bar right there not needing to drive
The pool had not chairs to sit on they were all broken and that is what I like about the get a ways is relaxing by the pool, and I was unable to do that at the The port
-
We really enjoyed our visit. Other reviews were discouraging but it was clean and the staff was great. There was lots to see and do right there at the hotel. I would request that they add bike racks for convenience to those that enjoy riding bikes on vacation. We also really enjoyed the pool. It was secluded, quiet and tranquil.
No bike racks.

Great sexy weekend, just wish I could remember
-
very good deal for a hotel ,marina, and resturant in one location, with good size rooms
A little dated
-
Location is great, balcony with river view, fantastic "swimming with manatees tour", very nice and friendly people, who were kind to us and gave us helpful advices. We were very happy with our stay and definitely recommend this hotel to others. And go swim with manatees, this is unforgettable!
-
My room opened to King's Bay. It was a wonderful view. I could see manatees every morning as they were moving across the bay. The Ale house restaurant was on premises and they were very nice. I loved being on the water. I will be returning.

The location is the only thing going for this hotel. Maintenance Upkeep , linens , modernization of rooms and continental breakfast do not exist as described. It is basic and the property is not well maintained. The walls and furniture have old water stains and are dated from the 1970'3. The walls have holes and the door thresholds are rotted to the point you can look under it to the outside after dark. We turned lights off to not attract insect into the room after dark while we watched tv. The remote worked and we had cable. Wifi Internet was weak. The owner patrolled the property every day but I did not receive or witness acknowledgment of us as he passed or see friendly social interactions with the staff. When I checked out at the front desk the owner stood next to me reading a paper and never asked how our stay was.My impression was he had our money and didn't care beyond that about return customers or improving the property. Guest money probably sent to family overseas. It does have a Tiki bar and restaurant on premise, but it is average sysco style food at a slightly elevated price because it is water front. The Dive shop employees, manatee snorkel tour and boat rental made our stay memorable. It is better then a tent on a cold night but stay here with realistic expectations and be prepared for the unknown.

Dive shop, front desk service
Breakfast, and the way it is served

Dog friendly with manatees everywhere. One even swam right up to the docks our room was right on the water and just above the dive shop. My five year old son and I had the best experience. Restaurant on site was great.
It was dated and the curtains were dusty causing my asthmatic son some problems.
